Glendalough Stag - _MG_8686 - Nature and Wildlife

Glendalough, a fabulous place for hill walking with many routes of varying length and intensity. This Saturday morning I went the white route past the miners cottages and happened upon this magnificent stag only fifteen feet from the pathway. The antlers are well formed and ready for the rutting season in October.
