Great Sugar Loaf - _MG_7830b
The Great Sugar Loaf in Wicklow near Bray, the mountain is quite prominent in the area standing at 501 metres.
A popular location for tourists and walkers, the initial walk to the base of the rocky peak is fairly straightforward with flattened grassy walkway, followed by a steeper rockier path, finally a steep scramble to the top through the rocky ledges.
The view from the top is well worth it, from here on a clear day you can see from Bray to Greystones, and inland the Blessington lakes and beyond.
