Jambo Night Kenyan Society of Ireland

Jambo Night
I was asked to take photographs at the Jambo night organized by the Kenyan Society of Ireland in aid of The Harambee Education Fund which is sponsored by ITT Tallaght.
The event was held at The Teacher's Club on Parnell Square and was attended by Ambassador of Kenya in Ireland, H.E. Catherine Muigai Mwangi, and the many friends of Kenya.

The event was full of fun, dance, and local Kenyan Tusker beer, but most importantly helped raise money toward The Harambee Education Fund, an initiative of staff and students at ITT Dublin to assist children in the Mukuru slums of Nairobi to attend seconday school.
For a mere €300 per year a child can have the gift of education and the hope and opportunities that education brings with it.
