Photoshoot with Sara Klaudia Pluta | Dublin Photographer Jason Mac Cormac
it's great when a model knows how to move and can create many poses and angles in a very short time, with occasional prompting from me for subtle changes be it the hands or angle of the face.
In this image I had asked Sara to lean a little forward and look to the light, this had two purposes there was less shadow on her face as the soft light bathed her face, but also the fall off from the light left everything else including her arms in a gradient of shadow, helping to put full focus Sara face in particular her eyes and the green shade of makeup applied by makeup artist Tara Kavanagh

These are just a few of my images from club shoot. The images below were all lit with beauty dish to camera left angled down at 45 degrees and reflector for fill on the right
A couple of 3/4 length images, taken with softbox to the left and Sara standing closer to the light and further away from the unlit background throwing it into complete darkness. The background appears to be black when in reality it was a mix of light stands and bright walls along with paper background setup. An example of the inverse square law or lighting fall off at work, a useful technique in the photographers tool kit.
